Clear Seal
ProTech’s Clear Seal produces a highly-effective moisture barrier by reducing water vapor transmission and sealing the interior bare masonry block. Clear Seal is recommended to use prior to framing and finishing your basement and is the most successful means of solving the issue of “damp” walls.
Waterproofing Epoxy
ProTech’s waterproofing epoxy is a specially-formulated, heavy-bodied thermo setting epoxy resin. When mixed with its activator, it becomes self-curing and hardens to a ceramic-like, non-porous, impermeable film, which is clear. Color packs can be added for decorative shades. Since it is 100% solid, it can be applied from a brush or roller application to 1/16th or 1/8th inch-thick cladding that can withstand tons of hydrostatic pressure. Waterproofing epoxy withstands hydrostatic pressure and will not allow radon gases to enter from the treated areas. Waterproofing epoxy, unlike hydraulic cement or paint does not peel because it is an epoxy!
